De Friesland Basic Insurance

To De Friesland

At De Friesland, you can take out two different basic packages. These packages are both in-kind policies and offer full reimbursement for all healthcare costs with contracted care providers. You can only qualify for a group discount if you are a group member with the Alles Verzorgd policy. If you increase the voluntary deductible by €500, you will receive a €20 discount per month on your premium.

De Friesland offers four different additional packages, ranging from the cheap Budget package to the full Optimal package. The following applies here: the more expensive the additional package you choose, the more benefits you will receive. Especially in the Budget package, there are several types of care for which you as an insured receive no reimbursements, but contraception is also properly insured in this package. Are you going for the Extra or Optimaal supplementary insurance or the Tand Optimaal dental insurance? You can no longer take out these insurance policies in combination with a Zelf Bewust Policy.

Dental care is not part of these supplementary packages. You can insure this separately via dental insurance. You can choose from AV Tand Standaard, AV Tand Extra and AV Tand Optimaal. Here too, depending on the condition of your teeth and the costs you expect to incur at the dentist, you can opt for more or less extensive coverage.

With insurer De Friesland it is possible to arrange many insurance matters online via Mijn De Friesland or the handy Declaration App. This way, you no longer have to go to the letterbox or an office to invoice a bill or information about your policy. This is handy because this insurer only has four stores in Friesland (Leeuwarden, Drachten, Heerenveen and Sneek) and several mobile service points. Finally, you can use Dokter Appke. With this app, you get a quick answer to your health questions from an expert.
