OHRA travel insurance

OHRA (abbreviation for: Mutual Health Insurance of Higher Civil Servants) is part of the Nationale Nederlanden Group. OHRA has a long history, having built up a customer base of more than 800,000 customers nearly 90 years after its foundation in 1925. OHRA works directly with the customer, so without intermediaries. At OHRA, you can choose from a wide range of insurances, including health, damage, or life insurances. You can choose from two types of travel insurance, a short-term or a continuous travel insurance.

In certain situations it could happen that you unexpectedly need to cancel your trip or interrupt it halfway. For example, when a family member passes away. In those situations it would of course be highly undesirable to have to bear those costs yourself. If you opt for the cancellation module, you will be reimbursed for the cancellation costs up to a maximum of the total travel sum or, in case of the continuous travel insurance, €1500 per year.
